Full cleaning includes an acid wash with brushes and pumice stone to remove alkali, minerals and tree sap and expose the original shine of the polished surfaces. Our cleaning staff is professionally trained to take great care in the cleaning of each project. Boise Valley Monument Company Refurbishes 3 Types of Surfaces
Granite: Full acid wash cleaning with brushes and pumice stone to remove alkali, minerals and tree sap. Re-highlighting of name panels
and hand-painting all lettering and designs by our in-house artist.
Marble: Hand buffed with warm water and polishing pads to remove alkali, minerals and tree sap. Re-highlighting of name panels and
hand-painting all lettering and designs by our in-house artist.
Bronze: Wire brushed to remove all alkali, minerals and paint. Completed surface is re-painted. All raised surfaces (letters,
dates, designs and borders) are sanded and buffed to expose the bronze shine. Covered with clear coat.
